A set of 2 complete writing lessons. Each lesson has a seperate PowerPoint and resources. The only thing that is missing is a range of leaflets to look through (web link for download and printing of PDF leaflets is included) The aim of the lessons is to analyse and apply the features of ZOO attraction leaflets. The children will create a leaflet for a fictitious zoo. The lesson is linked to a Charles Darwin topic, however it is very easily adapted if necessary as all resources are fully editable. Each lesson is also available separately and includes a presentation and all resources. The original text is in the public domain and available online. Lessons are based on the understanding of the text and its themes, as well as narrative, non-fiction and descriptive writing skills.
